Held in London and with nearly 200 participating companies each year, the DCS Awards is the data centre industry's flagship event, which is designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and providers operating in the data centre field. The award comes as Huawei unveils the next-generation data centre facility, an innovative definition that is attributed to collective wisdom and joint efforts between industry experts and Huawei.
The next-generation data centre facility has four characteristics: sustainable, simplified, autonomous driving, and reliable. Sustainable means next-generation data centre facilities will be fully green and energy-efficient while maximizing the recycling of all data centre materials. The future-proofing data centres will feature simplified architecture, power supply, and cooling. Autonomous Driving means that O&M automation, energy efficiency optimization, and operation autonomy will reshape the management of data centres’ operation and maintenance.
