[Bagmati, Nepal, 8 June 2025] Nepal
marked a major milestone in its journey toward green mobility with the inauguration of Nepal's
First Liquid-cooled Supercharging EV Station powered by Huawei FusionCharge technology. Located
in Bagmati Province, this landmark project was delivered in collaboration between Huawei Nepal
and GadiCharge Pvt. Ltd., at NEEK Factory in Hetauda.

To commemorate the event, the
"Inauguration Ceremony: Nepal's First Super Fast EV Charging Station with Liquid Cooled Hub
Technology" was held with the presence of key stakeholders and government officials. The event
was graced by Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Bahadur Singh Lama of Bagmati Province as the Chief
Guest, alongside Mayor Ms. Mina Kumari Lama, and delegates from Global IME Bank, AEPC, and other
institutional partners. Over 30 high-level participants attended the launch, reflecting strong
advancing sustainable transportation infrastructure in Nepal.

Speaking at the event, Mr. James
Zhang, Director of Huawei Nepal Digital Power Department, shared "Under our motto, 'Joint Hands
for Future-Oriented Green Energy Digitalization,' this project embodies the power of unity.
Huawei's cutting-edge technology meets the entrepreneurial vision of NEEK and the operational
excellence of GadiCharge. This tripartite partnership isn't just about infrastructure — it's
about empowering Nepal with locally rooted, globally advanced solutions."

The FusionCharge station launched in
Bagmati Province marks the first deployment of Huawei's electric mobility solutions in Nepal. It
is also the first in a broader roadmap to build a nationwide EV charging network, with plans to
establish nine smart EV charging stations across the country by the end of 2025. These sites
will form the foundation for a clean, connected, and future-ready transportation infrastructure,
capable of supporting everything from personal EVs to heavy-duty public transport fleets.
As the global energy sector
accelerates toward carbon neutrality, Nepal is stepping forward with a bold vision for smart
energy and sustainable mobility. Huawei's FusionCharge is purpose-built for this future.
Equipped with smart detecting, OTA updates, and reactive power management, the platform is also
VPP-ready, supporting advanced energy models such as peak shaving and time-of-use optimization.
By leveraging digital technology to integrate solar, storage, and mobility, FusionCharge helps
utilities and operators reduce grid pressure while enabling flexible energy use.

This collaboration also represents
Huawei's ongoing commitment to Nepal's clean energy transformation. By working with local
innovators like NEEK and GadiCharge, Huawei aims to deliver globally leading digital power
solutions tailored to local needs. This is not just a technology deployment—it is a
demonstration of Huawei's long-term vision to help build a greener, smarter Nepal through open
partnerships and localized innovation.
The operational launch of Nepal's
First Liquid-cooled Supercharging EV Station stands as a symbol of what is possible through
collaboration, technology, and shared vision. It's just the beginning. Huawei Digital Power
remains committed to working hand-in-hand with Nepalese stakeholders under its commitment to
"Joint Hands for Future -Oriented Green Energy Digitalization."
