May 17, 2024

[Singapore, May 17, 2024] Global Data Center Facility Summit 2024 was based on the "Power the Digital Era Forward" theme, gathering data center industry leaders, technical experts, and ecosystem partners from around the world to discuss new trends and opportunities of the global data center industry in the intelligent computing era. During the event, Huawei launched its global flagship service centers for data centers. With a strong focus on reliability, they are designed to provide professional services throughout the lifecycle from construction to O&M. This move is part of Huawei's efforts to ensure the stable running of data centers with excellent services, while at the same time moving the industry towards an era of intelligent computing.

Sun Xiaofeng , President of Huawei Data Center Facility & Critical Power Business, delivered a keynote speech at the summit. According to Sun, Huawei will focus on four values of rapid data center construction, flexible cooling, green energy supply, and ultimate safety, and build on what it has achieved in its global service system and ecosystem cooperation to design end-to-end data center solutions that integrate products, services, and ecosystems. Currently, Huawei has a global service network covering over 170 countries and over 1800 professional engineers, who provide 24/7 technical support for customers. In addition, Huawei is accelerating the building of global flagship service centers to form a one-hour service circle. Once completed, these centers can provide customers with more efficient services.

Having building technical assistance centers (TACs) and spare parts service centers, Huawei further expand its service network to include flagship service centers that enhance localized services, make quick response times to customer requirements, and provide professional O&M services such as service experts, spare parts services, professional tools, and onsite training programs. Already, one flagship service center has been put into operation in Horinger, China and more flagship service centers are expected to come up in Malaysia, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates.

In the ecosystem exhibition area, Huawei showcased its full-lifecycle services for data centers, including professional service solutions and global service network resources.

With safety as a foundation, Huawei implements digital and intelligent management in the planning, construction, maintenance, optimization, and operation phases to ensure efficient and stable running of data centers. To ensure engineering safety and quality in the construction phase of data centers, Huawei has set up three delivery operation centers (DOCs) in China, Romania, and Mexico, which are tasked with reviewing engineering quality of data center projects. The presence of these DOCs ensures reliable network access of devices and optimal performance of devices after they are put into use, with the first-time pass rate reaching 95%.

As for O&M, Huawei has built preventive maintenance capabilities for data center products, including intelligent diagnosis, automatic inspection, and real-time management . Urgent faults can be automatically reported within 10 minutes and tickets are created by Huawei and sent to maintenance engineers for troubleshooting. Huawei also provides 12 monthly device diagnosis reports to identify potential risks in advance to ensure stable running of devices.

To cater to customers' requirements and market changes, Huawei will continuously optimize the quality of its products and services and SLA to safeguard data center network security. Besides, Huawei will continue to follow the principles of innovation, openness, and win-win cooperation, and work with global partners to promote the high-quality development of the data center industry.
