[China, Beijing, May 10, 2022] China Building Standards Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Standard Institute") and Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei Digital Energy") signed a framework cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two parties established a cooperative relationship and leveraged their respective strengths. We will cooperate in technology innovation, joint development, capability introduction, consulting, design and planning, joint market expansion, and product promotion to jointly build a next-generation green low-carbon data center, low-carbon building, and green campus solution.

Li Cundong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Standards Institute, and Yang Yougui, Senior Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Data Center Energy Corps, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.

Li Cundong, Chairman of the Institute of Standards, said: Huawei Digital Energy is a leading global provider of digital energy products and solutions. As a leader in green and low-carbon buildings, China Architectural Standards Design and Research Institute has followed national strategies to lead the upgrading of green and low-carbon buildings and promote high-quality development of urban and rural construction. To meet the dual-carbon targets of governments, regions, and enterprises, provide comprehensive solutions including policy research, standards, planning, consulting, low-carbon technology integration, project demonstration, and carbon computing.

By developing demonstration projects such as zero-carbon parks, zero-carbon buildings, and ultra-low-energy buildings, we will contribute to achieving the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.Huawei's Digital Energy Company and the Standards Institute are working together to further explore the future development direction, promote resource sharing and complement each other's advantages, and build comprehensive smart energy solutions to build green data centers, green low-carbon buildings, and green campuses to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of cities. Create a green, low-carbon, smart society and promote sustainable development.

Yang Yougui, CEO of Huawei Data Center Energy Corps, said: As the only centralized management unit for national building standard design, It is a high-end technology integration service provider in urban and rural construction field, including standard design, planning and engineering design, general contracting, technical consultation, product manufacturing and installation and construction drawing review.
