Huawei Digital Power Philippines Empowers Renewable Energy with the Launch of New Smart String Inverters

Manila, Philippines – Huawei Digital Power Philippines is set to transform the nation's renewable energy landscape with the introduction of its 50KTL, 80KTL, and 150KTL Smart String Inverters.

The event, titled "Philippines C&I New Inverter Product Launch 2024," held at the company's headquarters in Milestone Building, BGC, Taguig, on September 27.  

Over 50 key stakeholders from the energy, photovoltaic (PV), and energy storage sectors, including installers, developers, and sustainability advocates, gathered to witness the unveiling of these advanced solutions.

The new inverters are designed to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and promote the adoption of renewable energy in the Philippines' commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors. These cutting-edge technologies are set to play a critical role in accelerating the country's clean energy transition, while offering greater reliability and performance for various energy projects across the nation.

Junrhey Castro, Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Solar Systems Corporation Philippines, spoke highly of the new inverters, expressing confidence that these would not only help streamline project implementation for EPCs and developers, but also facilitate greater integration of renewable energy into the national grid. He noted that the reliability and performance of these inverters will drive down costs, making renewable energy more accessible to businesses and consumers alike.

The launch offered the attendees a thorough overview of the 50KTL, 80KTL, and 150KTL Smart String Inverters, which are poised to play a pivotal role in advancing the Philippines' low-carbon initiatives. The presentation detailed how these inverters incorporate Huawei's state-of-the-art "4T" technologies -- BiT, WatT, HeaT, and BatTery -- to enhance energy efficiency and reliability.  The adaptability of the inverters to various commercial and industrial applications were likewise impressed on the audience, making a key asset in the country's renewable energy strategy.

The event culminated in the official unveiling of the new Smart String Inverters led by Huawei Digital Power Philippines and BayWa r.e. Solar Systems Corporation Philippines. Their presentation showcased the state-of-the-art inverters to an enthusiastic audience, symbolizing the strong partnership between Huawei and BayWa r.e. in advancing the country's renewable energy infrastructure.
