[Monaco, April 27, 2022] Huawei Digital Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lancom Ltd, to further strengthen their collaboration in Greece and with the common vision to boost the Data Center industry in the Balkan Region.
Huawei Digital Power and Lancom sign a MOU
Lancom is considered the biggest Greek independent Cloud Provider, with three proprietary Data Centers in Athens and Thessaloniki and one of the best long-term partners for sustainable and secure data center solutions development in Greece. Huawei and Lancom signed the agreement in the framework of the Data Cloud Congress 2022 in Monaco. The event was attended by Jacky Chen, President of Huawei Digital Power CEE&Nordic.
Through this agreement, Lancom and Huawei mutually agree to develop the Data Center and Cloud Services market in Greece providing innovative and highly competitive services for the entire sector.
“Based on the carbon-neutral trend and high power density rapid development, Lancom and Huawei will promote and deploy Top Tier Data Center facility technologies, aiming to build climate neutral and unmanned O&M next-generation DC infrastructure and become established as Data Center technology leaders in the Balkan region. Common aspiration of the two companies is to innovate together by combining renewable power generation, high power distribution, free cooling, and prefabricated data center solutions,” noted Sam Zheng, Managing Director, Huawei Digital Power Greece.

Lancom intends to integrate and operate Huawei Data Center solutions in their own facilities and third-party projects while their facility “Balkan Gate” will also act as a strategic Huawei Training Campus providing hands on user experience for top talents from Balkan Universities, partners, public and private sector experts, creating new synergies that will benefit the entire industry.
