[Yangon, Myanmar, June 12, 2026] Huawei Digital Power Myanmar successfully hosted the FusionSolar9.0 Smart PV Grid Forming Solution Myanmar launch, under the theme “Redefine Life Cycle Optimal LCOE”. Over 300 customers, partners, industry leaders, and government authorities attended the event. As solar development moves from capacity growth to quality-driven growth, the launch highlights Huawei's focus on stronger grid compatibility, higher long-term energy yield and more predictable lifecycle performance for the Myanmar market.

Hu Chunchi, President of Global Partner & Ecosystem Development Dept Huawei Digital Power, introduced Huawei's latest SUN2000-506KTL smart string inverter and LUNA2000-241-2S1 smart string ESS at the FusionSolar9.0 Smart PV Grid Forming Solution Myanmar launch. Powered by FusionSolar9.0 and advanced grid-forming technologies, these intelligent solutions strengthen weak grids, improve system reliability, enhance safety, and reduce lifecycle LCOE, supporting both utility-scale and C&I renewable energy projects.
Addressing Myanmar's 3GW energy gap and frequent power outages, the solutions also support the country's expanding solar-powered EV charging infrastructure. Leveraging AI-driven energy management, grid-forming capabilities, and full-lifecycle safety, Huawei's PV and ESS systems maximize energy yield, boost reliability, and enable sustainable clean energy development nationwide.

Thura Win, CTO of Huawei Digital Power Myanmar, highlighted the transformative capabilities of Huawei's latest solutions at the Myanmar launch. “The LUNA2000-241-2S1 series redefines energy storage in Myanmar,” he said. “Leveraging AI-powered scheduling, it can boost energy yields by up to 20%, while its 91.3% round-trip efficiency, optimized discharge cycles, and extended lifespan ensure reliable performance under demanding conditions. With UL 9540A fire certification and grid-forming capabilities, it offers precise power control and seamless on/off-grid switching, enhancing system stability, lowering LCOE, and maximizing returns through smarter energy management.”
Also, emphasized the SUN2000-506KTL smart string inverter, Huawei's first kilovolt-level AC inverter with grid-forming capability. “Supporting large-scale PV arrays of up to 11MW, it sets a new benchmark for utility-scale solar projects in Myanmar,” Ko Thura Win explained. “It's string-level intelligence, enhanced reliability, and advanced digital diagnostics simplify design, commissioning, and O&M, improving energy yield and project competitiveness.”

The Myanmar FusionSolar9.0 Launch reached a defining moment as 8 distinguished industry leaders and partners joined Huawei Digital Power Myanmar on stage for the official opening ceremony. With palms placed on the screen, the ceremony symbolized a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and Myanmar's sustainable energy future. The official introduction of the SUN2000-506KTL, and LUNA2000-241-2S1 marked a major milestone in bringing cleaner, smarter, and more resilient energy solutions to the Myanmar market.

The summit concluded with a session dedicated to recognizing and honoring our outstanding installation partners—Solarises System, Earth Renewable Energy, Indigo Energy Myanmar, RJE Services, I.E.M, Yoma Micro Power Myanmar, Myanmar Solar Power Trading, and Zeya & Associates—whose dedication to excellence and adherence to established industry practices have ensured reliable, high-quality implementations on the ground. Together, these solutions empower Myanmar's utilities and developers to scale clean energy efficiently, safely, and profitably, supporting a greener and more resilient energy future.
