In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (European Data Act), HUAWEI Digital Power, as a manufacturer, provides clear and accessible information, including details on the types of data generated by our connected products, the formats in which data is stored, and the methods available for users to access or delete such data.
1. The type, format, estimated volume, collection frequency, storage location, and intended retention period of the data that the connected product is capable of generating.
HUAWEI Digital Power’s connected products, spanning multiple categories, generate various types of data during everyday use to support the proper operation of devices. The types of data produced vary significantly across product categories, and depend on the specific device type and user behavior patterns.
We’ve categorized available datasets by products and provide approximate daily data generation estimates for each.
2. How can users access and retrieve data from their devices?
Legislation in certain countries and regions where we provide products and services stipulates that data subjects have rights to access, correct, retrieve and delete data. The user or their authorized third party may access, retrieve, or delete the data themselves.
The user or their authorized third party can also submit requests to us. Requests can be submitted through Global Service Hotlines | Huawei Digital Power. On this page, you can select or look up your country/region to find the corresponding official service hotline and email address of Huawei Digital Power, and reach out to us through these contact details.
We will make every effort to respond within a reasonable period upon receiving a request to access your data. This period will not exceed two months and may be extended if necessary, depending on the number of requests and their complexity. If the request period is to be extended, we will notify the data subject of the situation and reason for delay. In the event of any conflict between this section and local laws/regulations, the local laws/regulations shall prevail.

Pre-contractual Information Regarding Data Generated by Related Services (FusionSolar)
For the purposes of the Data Act, ‘related service data’ means ‘data representing the
digitization of user actions or of events related to the connected product, recorded
intentionally by the user or generated as a by-product of the user’s action during the
provision of a related service by the provider’. It does not include all data that HUAWEI Digital Power may have about a user or device.

What is the nature, estimated volume and collection frequency of product and related service data that HUAWEI Digital Power is expected to obtain?
- Nature of Data
If you are a Device Owner, the product and related service data we collect includes:
• User account information.
• Smart PV device information bound to the user account.
• Login mobile device information.
• Charging pile equipment data.
• Data of third-party appliances (for example, those connected under "Appliances") connected to the FusionSolar.
• Input data for SmartDesign.
• Feedback.
• Information used for message push and activity notification.
• Information of troubleshooting.
• Logs.
• Information used for app update: device hardware information (including the mobile phone or tablet model) and app version.
• Plant information.
If you are an Installer user, the product and related service data we collect includes:
• User account information.
• Login device information.
• Feedback.
• Information used for message push and activity notification.
• Information used for app update.
• Information of troubleshooting.
• Logs.
• Device commissioning and WLAN configuration.
• Inspection task information and defect elimination task information.
- Estimated Volume and Collection Frequency
The generated data volume varies depending on the number of devices registered by users.
• Static data (user accounts, plant information, device information) is collected only once or when data changes, with a storage capacity of no more than 5KB per record.
• Dynamic data (device statistics, plant statistics, device or plant report data) is collected every 5 minutes, generating approximately 1MB to 5MB of storage per day.
• Service-triggered data (O&M information, notifications and messages, app update information) is generated when the relevant service is triggered (for example, when a user exports device logs). Its one-time export volume ranges from 1MB to 10MB.
- Storage Method and Retention Period
Data is stored in the Open Telekom Cloud. It is in accordance with the needs of contract and service performance. In general, the ordinary intended retention period ranges from 90 days to 3 years. Users can ask HUAWEI Digital Power to delete the relevant data at any time.
• User account information: When you deregister your account, your personal account information will be deleted.
• Plant and device data: The retention period is 15 months for historical device data, 15 months for hourly report data, 5 years for daily and monthly report data, 25 years for yearly report data, and 6 months for charger alarms and usage data. When you delete a plant or device, the device-related data will be deleted, including the physical layout information synchronized from SmartDesign.
• Login device information/Logs for auditing/Troubleshooting/Feedback data: The system automatically deletes the information within six months.
• O&M information: Report/Alarm subscription and I-V Curve Diagnosis report information is deleted when a task is deleted. I-V Curve Diagnosis reports can be stored for a maximum of 12 months. You can also manually delete related information. Inspection and defect elimination tasks are automatically deleted when a plant is deleted.
• Notifications and messages: The data will be deleted when the account is deleted.
• App update: Mobile device information and app version number will be deleted upon account deletion.
