[Daegu, South Korea, April 24, 2026] Huawei Digital Power Korea is proud to participate in the 2026 International Green Energy Expo in Daegu, South Korea, held from April 22-24. This event brings together local partners, customers, and industry experts to push forward Korea’s green energy transition.

On Day 1, April 22, Zheng Huarong, Head of the Korea Digital Power Business Department at Huawei Technologies Korea, along with 27 VIPs, kicked off the 23rd edition of the Expo. The VIPs toured various booths, with Huawei’s booth (H500) being a prominent highlight. Over 70 guests visited us to explore our innovative solutions.
The latest model from the intelligent "SUN2000" solar inverter series were showcased, with the new SUN2000-150K-MG0 (160 kW) Smart PV Controller being one of the highlights. This model features enhanced safety features, including
• AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) to protect against arc faults
• SSLD for detecting DC circuit abnormalities
• SCLD to detect connector temperatures
This inverter offers up to 98.8% efficiency, 3% increased yield through PID recovery solution, and active safety with groundbreaking 15ms PV ground-fault protection. It also brings reduced BOS costs by 5% for a 1 MWp PV plant and improves O&M with precise fault locating.

Additionally, the SUN2000-330KTL-H1 (300 kW) has been introduced for utility-scale power plants. This model includes an expanded Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) range for better on-site adaptability and a smart I-V curve diagnostic feature that enhances maintenance efficiency. Huawei has also prioritized operational reliability by conducting rigorous aging tests under extreme conditions like saline and desert environments, ensuring robust performance in diverse climates.

Throughout the exhibition, the Huawei booth hosted technical seminars and high-level meetings, diving into inverter functions and innovative solutions like Zero Export for grid saturation, Grid Forming for stability, and emerging trends in Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
Huawei also stated that it is focusing on ensuring operational reliability by applying aging tests during the production stage explaining that durability verification under extreme conditions such as saline environments and deserts has been conducted to ensure stable performance across various environments.

Valian Wang, CEO of Huawei Korea, said, “In line with the global expansion of renewable energy adoption, we aim to contribute to the high-quality development of the industry through solutions that integrate advanced digital technologies with power electronics. We hope that this exhibition will provide a meaningful opportunity to experience our latest utility-scale and commercial solutions firsthand and to share insights on industry trends through our technical seminars.”

We look forward to collaborating with partners and customers to drive the future of green energy in Korea.
