[March 19, 2024, Johannesburg, South Africa] The 2024 Huawei Sub-Saharan Africa Fusionsolar Forum and Partner Summit was impressively held in Johannesburg at the Solar & Storage Live 2024 Exhibition at Gallagher Estate at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the conference, Mr. Hesheng, President of Huawei Digital Power Sub-Saharan Africa Region, delivered a keynote speech titled " Open Up the New Era of Solar, Making the Most of Every Ray."

Hesheng pointed out that with the declining costs of commodities and continuous technological innovation, the global low-carbon energy transition has hit the accelerator.

It is estimated that by 2030, global renewable energy development will be tripled, with photovoltaic installation volume exceeding 550GW annually. As the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation continues to improve, the era of "low cost solar and storage" is approaching. Photovoltaics + ESS will become the most economical and universal power source, accelerating the construction of a new energy system with renewable energy as the mainstay.
