The Three Gorges Kubuqi Desert PV Power Plant in Inner Mongolia stands in a shifting‑sand environment, requiring inverters with exceptional sealing and the ability to withstand extreme temperature swings—from -34°C in winter to over 40°C in summer. Built for such conditions, Huawei inverters combine IP66-rated protection with an intelligent fan dust‑removal system to prevent sand from clogging air ducts. Their wide operating temperature range ensures stable and efficient performance even under the most demanding climates. Once fully operational, the plant is expected to save 6 million tons of standard coal and reduce CO₂ emissions by 16 million tons annually, reinforcing the Great Green Wall initiative in northern China.
