East China Sea: The equipment maintains long-term safe and stable operation, resisting high humidity and salt spray

As the world’s largest open-sea PV plant, Guohua Shandong Offshore PV plant faces the harsh offshore environment of high humidity and heavy salt spray. Leveraging IP66-rated water and dust resistance and C5-level salt spray corrosion resistance, Huawei’s smart string inverters ensure the equipment operates safely and stably for long periods in this complex environment. The plant is expected to generate 1.78 billion kWh of electricity annually, which can meet the annual electricity demand of 2.67 million residents while saving 503,800 tons of standard coal each year.
