SCG Roofing CO., LTD, part of Siam Cement Group, and one of Thailand’s most established industrial leaders, is accelerating its clean energy journey through the deployment of Huawei’s LUNA2000-215-2S10 and SmartLogger3000C.

As part of its commitment to sustainability and RE100, SCG Roofing sought to improve the utilization of surplus electricity generated by its existing solar power system. By working with ONNEX by SCG, the company introduced Huawei’s advanced C&I energy storage solution to optimize renewable energy usage, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce overall energy costs.

Huawei’s LUNA2000-215-2S10 and SmartLogger3000C combine high efficiency, advanced hybrid cooling, and reliable safety design. With 91.3% cycle efficiency and UL9540A-certified safety performance, the system helps SCG Roofing achieve stable energy storage, intelligent energy management, and simplified operation and maintenance.

In just over four months of operation, SCG Roofing has saved approximately THB 400,000 in energy costs and is expected to achieve a payback period of around 7 to 8 years. This project shows how industrial enterprises can turn renewable energy commitments into measurable business value, supporting a cleaner and more resilient energy future in Thailand.
