Dohome Public Company Limited, one of Thailand’s leading home improvement and construction materials retailers, is accelerating its renewable energy transformation through Huawei PV+ESS solution under a PPA model. With 15 sites integrated with 10MWp PV and 12.9MWh BESS on top of its existing solar infrastructure, Dohome successfully replicated the supermarket scenario to maximize self-consumption, improve renewable energy utilization, and achieve more predictable energy savings.
Through collaboration with GreenYellow as the investor and Huawei as the solution provider, Dohome adopted Huawei’s C&I Hybrid Cooling ESS solution to optimize renewable energy usage across multiple locations. The PPA model enables Dohome to reduce upfront investment pressure while maintaining long-term energy cost predictability and supporting its sustainability commitments.
Huawei LUNA2000-215 delivers high-efficiency energy storage with advanced safety design, intelligent energy management, and reliable system operation. By integrating PV and ESS, the solution increases renewable energy utilization by 40% compared with the previous solar-only system, while minimizing additional development costs and OPEX impact during project expansion.
With a targeted ROI of approximately 6 years, this project demonstrates how large-scale retail businesses like Dohome can transform renewable energy from an operational expense into a strategic business advantage — improving energy independence, saved 30% electricity costs, and supporting DOHOME’s long-term sustainable growth.
