Huawei Showcases Next-Generation AIDC Innovations at Data Center World Asia 2026

[Singapore, September 29, 2026] — Huawei Digital Power participated in Data Center World Asia (DCWA) 2026, held from September 29–30 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore, joining industry leaders and ecosystem partners to explore the future development of AI data centers (AIDC). The event brought together key stakeholders across the AIDC ecosystem, including colocation providers, power industry leaders, consulting firms and design institutes, system integrators, industry organizations, and technology partners, creating a collaborative platform to exchange insights and accelerate the advancement of intelligent computing infrastructure. With more than 50% of attendees comprising C-level decision makers, the event highlighted the growing strategic importance of AI infrastructure transformation among industry leaders.

Steve Kim, President of Data Center Facility & Critical Power Marketing, Sales and Services, Huawei Digital Power

During the event, Steve Kim, President of Data Center Facility & Critical Power Marketing, Sales and Services, Huawei Digital Power, delivered a keynote speech introducing Huawei’s vision for the next-generation Grid-Interactive AIDC, under the theme “Maximizing Tokens Per Watt.” He highlighted that AI is transforming data centers from traditional support infrastructure into “Token factories” that produce intelligence and digital value, making energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability critical success factors. As AI workloads drive higher-density computing, greater power demand, and more dynamic load fluctuations, future AIDC must evolve beyond being passive energy consumers into intelligent, grid-interactive energy nodes. Steve introduced Huawei’s “3+1” innovation framework — Watt, Heat, Bit, and construction mode transformation — to enable more efficient power systems, intelligent thermal management, AI-driven operations, and faster productized delivery. Through integrated solutions across renewable energy, grid interaction, energy storage, UPS, liquid cooling, and intelligent management platforms, Huawei aims to build AIDC infrastructure that delivers higher reliability, greater energy efficiency, faster deployment, and stronger grid support — enabling every watt to generate more Tokens and powering the AI era forward.
